Menstrual Pads

Take the pad out of the packet and unfold it. Then, place it above your underwear. During menstruation, change your pad every few hours.

02

Menstrual Cups

Fold the menstrual cup in to a shape that resembles the letter “U”. Carefully insert it into your vaginal canal, and insert it in the direction of your tailbone. Once it’s fully inside the designated area, you should hear a popping sound. Make sure the menstrual cup isn’t folded anymore at this point. Wear your menstrual cup for 6-12 hours.

Menstrual Underwear

Menstrual/Period underwear are just like regular underwear! Wear it for 6-12 hours, depending on your flow. Change them every 10-12 hours, and wash them afterwards to ensure proper sanitation.

Tampons

Locate your vagina, and find a comfortable position that works for you before inserting the tampon. Stay calm, and carefully insert the tip of your tampon at the opening of your vagina. Don’t squeeze your behind or the vaginal muscles, as this will make it more difficult to insert the tampon. Then, aim your tampon towards your lower back at an angle. Find the angle that is best for you, so it’s not painful or difficult to insert.
